“Janet’s Jammies is a tribute project to honor and remember Janet Ladd Brzozowski. Janet passed away in November 2020 after complications from a heart transplant in July 2020. Sewing for loved ones was one of Janet’s favorite activities. So we created Janet’s Jammies. This project uses donations to create and disperse Janet’s Jammies kits. UMaine Homemakers will create Janet’s Jammies kits as their statewide project. The finishes Jammies will be distributed to kids that need a little extra love around as they are completed. All along the way, Janet will be remembered and her love will be celebrated.
